Right about the time 200 lbs. of drunken man came at me like a bowling ball, toppling me like an oversized pin, I realized that we’d better stop before anyone got hurt. Of course we didn’t.
Thank you to everyone that came out for Same Old Jets at the Bullpen on 2-21-09. We debuted a bunch of music and played cover songs to a capacity crowd (it’s a small place).
It was a successful send off for Flannel Rob who will soon go to Korea. My highlight of the show was Seoul man redux in his honor.
Anyway, Same Old Jets is a young band that’s making strides and will soon be an all around great band. We’re trying to play an encore show at Willie McBrides in Hoboken on Thursday. Peace and Love,- Tom Clancey
